A Founding Letter from Founder to FUSTIANS
FUSTIANS,
I am writing to share a vision that I believe we both hold.

Benoit ABIJURU, Founder of FUSTIA
In the course of human events, it becomes necessary for people to take the initiative and build somethings beyond themselves. Since, I was child, I had been always inspired by the idea of being a part of such legacy.
I founded FUSTIA out of a deep sense of responsibility for the future we must build and the opportunities we must create. I want us to build a legendary technology company that will lead, sustain, and represent the Africa in the race for global technological innovation and accelerate its development. The company I am speaking of is not a conventional company; it is a company that designed to build other innovation and invention-driven, technology first companies.
I founded this company because I believe in the power of technology to transform Africa into a well-developed continent, and the opportunities to achieve this transformation are enormous. However, this transformation cannot happen unless African technology companies invest in inventing and innovating advanced, future-oriented technological solutions to the world’s and Africa’s most complex problems. In my perspective, the future of Africa cannot be secured without significant investment in advanced innovation and invention. If Africa continues to rely on its economy primarily on natural resources, those resources will eventually be exhausted. Let us consider oil as an example. The total crude oil reserves of the African continent are estimated at approximately 125 billion barrels. Africa produces about 5 million barrels per day. At this rate, oil reserves could be exhausted in approximately 68 years and six months. Africa needs investment in invention and innovation to achieve long-term sustainability.
According to a UN report, Africa’s population exceeds 1.5 billion and is expected to rise to 2.5 billion by 2050, while the global population will increase from 8 billion to 9.8 billion. Africa will account for more than 55% of global population growth between 2025 and 2050. For entrepreneurs, inventors, and innovators, Africa is where opportunities are hidden a place that will account for 55% of all new global consumers over the next 25 years. This is why FUSTIA Intelligent Lab is our first bet: to build infrastructure and platforms that will equip both new and existing consumers with the skills and tools required to succeed in the future of work, where machines will be thinking.
I founded FUSTIA because I want us to make a meaningful contribution toward leading Africa and the world into a prosperous and developed future. I want us to take responsibility to lead, sustain, and represent Africa in the race to solve the world’s most complex problems using advanced technological solutions. We will achieve this by building companies capable of inventing and innovating advanced technologies that will change the world from Africa.
When I graduated from high school, I hesitated when opportunities arose opportunities that could have made a real impact on my country. That hesitation followed me through every moment of my undergraduate studies. At the time I graduated, my plan seemed clear: find a good job, work for a couple of years, and then return to school for a PhD. It was safe. It was conventional. But deep down, I knew it wasn’t enough.
One day, everything changed. I challenged myself. I challenged my destiny. I questioned the world. In a moment of prayer and meditation, I asked God: “Why do inequalities exist between societies, nations, and human beings? Why is opportunity so unevenly distributed?” In that stillness, with my eyes closed, my body frozen, and my heart racing with both fear and curiosity, I heard from within: “Why are you criticizing God for responsibilities that belong to you? Why do you set limits on your own potential and then blame Him for the outcome? Why not take responsibility to contribute to the development of your society and create a future you can be proud of?” That moment changed everything. I realized that progress is not given; it is built, and transformation is a matter of choice. I also realized that every human being is born with the tools required to shape their world: talent, opportunity, and the capacity to learn, invent, and innovate. I understood that science, technology, and discovery are vast and open to everyone who dares to explore them. I understood that the seeds we plant today through knowledge, creativity, and action can yield opportunities for ourselves and for generations to come.
From that day, I began spending my time thinking about what I could do today to empower better future for generations. I dedicated myself to studying the world’s most challenging problems and develop their innovative solutions. Every day, a new idea was born in my mind. Ideas multiplied rapidly, and I began to think I was going crazy. A new idea today, a new idea tomorrow it felt endless.
In the beginning, my plan was to find a way to Silicon Valley and build the future from there. Until one day, I read the story of The Acre of Diamonds. I learned how Ali Hafed sold his farm in search of diamonds elsewhere, while the farm he sold was the biggest store of diamonds in world history. That story taught me a powerful lesson: opportunities exist everywhere and we stand on them. I realized that Africa needs for technology solutions are more than any other place of world. I also realized that Africa is full of hidden opportunities, and if we choose to explore them, we can unlock their potential and create impact for our society while building wealth for ourselves. From that moment, my purpose became to build the future and transform the world from Africa. I concluded that, instead of crawling to Silicon Valley, why not build Silicon Valley in Africa? I asked myself, why not design a company modeled like structure of Silicon Valley?
We often dream and forget that our loved ones also had dreams for us. My family was dreaming for me too. My mother wished that I would get a job, while my father wished that I could continue my education and obtain a PhD. For me, I committed my time to thinking and carefully studying the problems in society, and exploring what solutions I could build to solve them. I was determined to invent advanced technology solutions from Africa and change the world. This sometimes caused minor disagreements between me, my parents, and my friends. That period became the most difficult time of my life. Countless problems that I could solve occupied my mind, while negativity from everyone I spoke to was intense. They all called me an irresponsible person.
At the beginning of 2025, I faced an existential crisis. My financial situation was difficult, and I could not afford a psychologist. So I decided to study psychology, philosophy, and neuroscience to find my own path. I had sworn never to betray myself again; my determination was unshakable. I had already experienced the danger of regret once before, and I was not willing to take any action that could lead to such a risk again. I continued my journey, exploring how technology can enhance lives, solve complex problems, and transform society. I imagined the future and developed ideas for how this future could be built. During this period of profound thinking and ideation, I explored countless problems to solve and the endless opportunities to create.
In mid-2025, the concept of FUSTIA emerged. I was reading articles about 10 multi-trillion-dollar companies: what pushed these companies to reach that scale, what made them special, and what they had done that others hadn’t. A profound question arose in my mind: “Can Africa produce a trillion-dollar company?” My answer was difficult, but possible. To build a trillion-dollar company in an economy with a total GDP of $3 trillion shared among 55 African countries it’s extremely difficult but not impossible. It requires building solutions capable of competing with and leading in the global market. It requires creating $10 trillion in new value and finding a way to capture 10% of that value. This cannot be achieved by focusing only on the African market; it requires dominance on the global stage.
I asked myself: Why not to build a trillion-dollar company in Africa?
I began carefully organizing and creating the FUSTIA vision, mission, and it’s purpose in such a way that it could become a trillion-dollar company. Saying “a trillion-dollar company” I know how that sounds. It is a number that commands respect and, to some, invites skepticism. But this create a mindset of attacking big markets and solving big problems with the potential to create huge impact. I carefully developed the FUSTIA master plan for a trillion-dollar company a goal I am very confident we can achieve by the 2050s. Indeed, I carefully developed a 10-years master plan for FUSTIA, along with a 2-years business plan.
I designed FUSTIA in such a way that decisions about innovation and invention could be made quickly. I designed it so that future talent can benefit easily within our system, with opportunities to access capital, develop ideas, and receive the mentorship and support required to succeed. I designed FUSTIA so that the major products and purpose of one company empower the success of another, to create vertically integrated companies.
I developed FUSTIA’s philosophy in the beginning to eliminate all mediocre ideas. Our culture and philosophy are the foundation for everything we do. FUSTIA aims to solve the world’s most complex and generational problems by developing solutions that last for generations.
Our philosophy of building is to create the future before others dare to dream about it. Our philosophy for selecting ideas and opportunities is guided by two key questions: Can the world be saved? Can we create trillion-dollar value? Ideas and opportunities that answer these questions are exactly the kind we work on.
FUSTIA is an invention and innovation-first, technology-driven venture that builds research, product, and platform companies and scales each to global competitiveness. Our vision is to become a globally admired force of innovation and invention by building technologies and ventures that solve the world’s most pressing and generational problems. Our ambition is to lead, represent, and sustain Africa at the top of the global race in technological innovation, and to become the first Africa-born trillion-dollar company.
Africa laws of urgency: How to lead global market from Africa?
My ambition is to build and lead FUSTIA into a multi-trillion-dollar company, and it requires competing on a global level. Any time we speak about the global market, competition shifts from local companies to global competitors from America, Europe, and Asia, whose systems of innovation and invention are strong and supported by significant resources and opportunities. The reality is that we cannot succeed by competing according to American, European, or Asian rules. That’s why I invented the Africa Laws of Urgency, or the Africa Law of Innovation, as our own rules for setting the pace and challenging FUSTIA to compete and lead in the global market. By following these rules, we can create incremental competitive advantages for ourselves and position FUSTIA for global leadership.
FUSTIANs, our mission is to build and scale breakthrough technology companies that pioneer transformative innovations and solve humanity’s most complex and generational problems. Together, we can create the future we imagine, lasts for generations and inspires the world.
FUSTIANS, the future we are building is very important, but it is also very difficult to achieve. It requires extraordinary effort and energy, as well as the sacrifice and contribution of individuals. But I can tell rewards are vast. If you join FUSTIA, request for decade master plan in order to understand the opportunities and rewards for being part of FUSTIA.
Welcome to FUSTIA, where technologies are invented in Africa to change the world.
